The complete packing & moving checklist

A smooth move is mostly about planning ahead. Start a week or two early and the day itself becomes far less stressful.

Declutter before you pack, label boxes by room, and keep a separate bag of essentials — chargers, documents, a change of clothes and basic tools — for the first night. Book a reliable packer or tempo well in advance, especially around month-end.

Do a final sweep of the old flat for anything left behind, note the meter readings, and confirm your deposit-refund timeline with the owner before you hand over the keys.
